Instructions

- Prepare the Coating: In a shallow dish, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg until smooth.
- Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the beaten egg, allowing excess to drip off. Then press the chicken firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture to create an even, thick crust.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side until the crust is golden and the chicken is cooked through. For an extra crispy exterior, transfer to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes if needed.
