Instructions

- Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the salmon, bread crumbs, egg, chopped green onions, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Gently mix everything just until combined to avoid toughness.
- Shape the Cakes: Using your hands, form the mixture into evenly sized patties approximately 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick for uniform cooking.
- Cook to Golden Perfection: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the salmon cakes for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy. Cook in batches to prevent overcrowding.
