Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Cook bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels, then chop into small pieces. Thaw puff pastry as per package instructions and preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine softened butter with minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Set aside to brush over the pastry later.
- Assemble the Twists: Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface. Spread an even layer of Alfredo sauce across the dough. Sprinkle chopped bacon and shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Gently brush the garlic butter mixture over the top.
- Cut and Twist: Slice the pastry into strips approximately 1 inch wide. Twist each strip several times to create spirals and place them spaced apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake to Golden Perfection: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on each twist. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until the twists are golden brown, crispy, and bubbly with melted cheese.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley or additional Italian seasoning. Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
